The ceremony was graced by the Chief Director of the Oti Regional Coordinating Council, who represented the Hon. Regional Minister. Also in attendance were the Presidential Staffer for the Oti Region, Mr. Sulemana Mumuni, and other key members of the Regional Coordinating Council.
In his remarks, the Chief Director commended World Vision Ghana for its consistent commitment to improving the welfare of children, families, and communities across the country. He noted that the ORCC remains steadfast in its support for partnerships that align with the region’s development agenda and strategic priorities. He emphasized that such collaborations are crucial in bridging the gap between government and development partners, fostering shared responsibility in driving the region’s socio-economic progress. The Oti Region, he said, continues to welcome organizations that share in the vision of transforming lives and communities.
Representatives from World Vision Ghana expressed gratitude to the Chief Director and his team for their continuous support and collaboration. They reaffirmed WVG’s commitment to implementing impactful programs in education, health, water, and livelihood empowerment. According to the team, the MOU symbolizes a shared vision for sustainable development and transformation across the participating districts.
In addition to the signing, World Vision Ghana announced a series of commissioning and handover ceremonies for completed water systems in beneficiary communities. These activities will take place from Wednesday, November 5 to Friday, November 7, 2025, across selected locations in the Krachi Nchumuru, Krachi West, and Kadjebi Districts. The commissioning forms part of WVG’s Universal Service Coverage Project, aimed at ensuring access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation for all.
The ceremony concluded with the official signing of the MOU, symbolizing the beginning of a strengthened partnership between World Vision Ghana and the district assemblies. This collaboration is expected to yield lasting benefits for residents of Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, and Kadjebi, contributing significantly to the overall socio-economic development of the Oti Region.
