STAKEHOLDERS MEETING ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT ON THE PROPOSED KETA PORT IN THE VOLTA REGION.

As part of efforts made by the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority acting on behalf of the Ministry of Transport Ghana to develop the ports of Keta in the Volta Region on the Eastern part of the Ghanaian coastline, a stakeholder meeting was held on Tuesday the 20th of February 2024 on the environmental and social impact assessment for the proposed project at the Oti Regional Coordinating Council, Dambai at exactly 2:00 pm. Participants of the meeting include the Chief Director Issaka Braimah Basintalele, some Heads of Departments of the Regional Coordinating Council and officials of the Coastline and Reclamation Engineering Service Ghana Limited which is a consulting agency for the environmental and social impact assessment for the project.
