The Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) today welcomed students and teachers from Yabram Community Day Senior High School on an educational tour aimed at providing practical insight into Ghana’s local governance and decentralization system.The visit formed part of the school’s academic programme to complement classroom instruction with firsthand experience of how local government institutions function and deliver public services.The students were received by the Chief Director of the Oti Regional Coordinating Council, who led the management team of the Council.
In his welcome address, the Chief Director expressed his appreciation to the school for choosing the ORCC as a learning destination. He underscored the importance of educational visits in bridging the gap between theory and practice, noting that such engagements enable students to gain a practical understanding of concepts taught in the classroom.
